Pakistan, 2011
12 years ago, I had the opportunity to meet some amazing survivors and warriors in this place. It was a humbling experience to see the strength and resilience of these individuals who had overcome unimaginable obstacles. Their stories of perseverance and determination left a lasting impact on me and taught me the true meaning of courage. I will always cherish the memories of the time spent with these incredible people and the valuable lessons they imparted on me.
5 Days in Solo
September 2021
During my visit to Solo, Central Java in September 2021, I had the privilege of experiencing the Rikolto program firsthand. As an international NGO with over 40 years of experience, Rikolto partners with farmers' organizations and food chain actors across continents to promote sustainability, social, and food security initiatives. It was inspiring to witness the commitment of both farmers and city residents in working towards these important goals. Rikolto's work is crucial in ensuring a sustainable future for our planet, and I applaud their dedication to making a positive difference in people's lives.
