I’m Sonyville, a communications consultant supporting social development organizations in Indonesia.
I work with organizations on a retainer basis to help them plan, produce, and maintain clear and consistent communication over time. My role is to support teams in documenting their work, shaping their stories, and communicating impact in a way that is accurate, credible, and easy to understand.
My focus is on photo and video communication—from project documentation and progress updates to success stories and campaign materials—ensuring that visual content aligns with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
Rather than one-off productions, I work as an ongoing partner, helping organizations respond to communication needs as they evolve, maintain quality and consistency, and strengthen public and donor-facing narratives.
Through long-term collaboration, I aim to make communication more effective, reliable, and useful in supporting meaningful social change.

In photography, capturing a person's essence and their stories is amazing. One photo can tell a whole story, preserving cherished moments. Preserving memories and the world's beauty is a gift, and it's an honor to share this art. Every photo, whether candid or posed, tells a unique story and freezes a moment in time that can't be repeated.
Not to mention
As someone deeply passionate about valuing human life and appreciating nature's beauty, I'm consistently drawn to the stories they offer. My work with social development organizations allows me to explore these themes, gaining fresh insights and experiences with each video project. Whether I'm documenting marginalized communities' struggles or capturing natural landscapes' grandeur, I'm continually inspired by visual storytelling's power to connect us to the world and drive action. There's nothing more rewarding to me than using my videography skills to raise awareness of crucial social and environmental issues and make a positive impact on the world.
ABOUT SONYVILLE
After working in management roles in various private and social development organizations, I chose to focus on social development in Indonesia. Since 2017, I've been helping non-governmental organizations achieve their goals, using my expertise. I'm passionate about making a difference in Indonesians' lives and feel proud to be part of this noble cause. Using my knowledge to assist those in need is fulfilling, and I'm grateful for the opportunity. I plan to keep contributing to social development in Indonesia, aiming to positively impact the lives of many more people.
